Doll meet at Vivo City

Kitty organised a doll meet at VivoCity, Pacific cafe.

At the beginning, Xue Ni and I were panicking as we are unable to find the venue [there was a change in Venue]...and felt tired of searching for the people [*we don't know anyone except Kitty, so it was hard to spot one person in a big shopping mall], we were technically search for anyone who is holding on to dolls on their arm. And finally we spotted 2 and later we proceed to the area after they made a phone call.

So because of this doll meet, I was able to meet up with many doll lovers to learn and gain knowledge. What's more, lovely dolls to see of course :)

Adrian is back

When Adrian came back home, what came into my mind was to wash Adrian's hair.. Funny indeed, I think this is probably due my wig care and maintenance research for the past few days.

So here are some pictures of Adrian after his crow shower [he look like he's crying when I'm try to wash his hair just now... ~aww]

Bad Hair Day

This curly wigs came as default when I bought Louise...

Yeah~ I know it's a girl wigs, but it couldn't be help as H say there's no more stock for male's wig. I mean it either to take or leave it scenerio, so for anyone with logical mentality, you would definately take it.


Thinking that curly hair are just like straight hair, I combed the wig as it a little messy but it turns out to be even worse after the comb. So after some research on the web, it states "Combed curly wig with your hand gently" Hoping that I was wrong, I rang up pam to double check as she had perm her hair once. YUP, I was reassure that I'm wrong..


So have been thinking way of dealing with it. So this is what i came up with:

Using the method similar to dying of hair, I used small pieces of aluminum foil to separate each distinctive curl as doing it with just a pair of bare hand can't seem to separate the curl.

Just Started to separate those curl...

Currently half way through..

Things to accomplish:
Once I'm done with the separation, I will remove the foil one by one. Then I will soak in cold water with shampoo as the web states that by gently shaking the wig in the water and it will curl back to orginal. After the washing, dry it naturally"

So from this wig, I learnt the hard way- Normal comb are not mend for curly wigs.

My trip to Victoria Threatre

Was suppose to meet my cca friends at Raffles Mrt station but due to the early arrival, YJ & I went up to shop for food. To our surprise none of the shops are opened~

no even a single soul...Stomach growling~

The main purpose of today meet up was to go Victoria Threatre to watch the performance of Japanese Drum which is lead by either our instructor J or his master. The performance was very entertaining and it inspires us to play drum again!

It is sad that no picture can be taken in the threatre, but i was still glad that I brought my camera along as scenery are always the best picture to capture ;)

Just like human, doll need social life O_0 (i.e. make more friends) Thus went to Xue Ni's House on 5 Sept 2007 to play ;)

The 1st BJD doll above is Sha from DOD. This doll belong to Xue Ni. Hmm regarding his name.. it's require good spelling and pronounciation skill. LOL, even I have a hard time trying my best to pronounce his name.. but i can guarantee you that it's a nice and interesting name. Will get from Xue Ni the spelling and post them up soon ^^
